About this project
The Ralph veterinary referral centre is an independent, compassionate and ethical-practice focused veterinary referral centre for dogs and cats located in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. We were selected by specialist veterinary and animal welfare design & building management company, ACD Projects, for an £80,000 contract to manufacture furniture for X-ray, cardiology, laboratory & hydrotherapy rooms, as well as various dog and cat wards. In total, we manufactured over 80 base and wall units in Trespa, plus worktops in white.
David Bailey provide a good quality, robust product, at a reasonable price, and they keep to delivery dates. That makes for a good working relationship.

The Ralph Veterinary Referral Centre - project details
The mission of The Ralph veterinary referral centre is to set the standard for small animal referral veterinary care with an ethical conscience. With this in mind, the two founders of The Ralph, along with ACD Projects, found and completely renovated what had been a large office and warehouse building in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, to bring their vision to a reality.
Veterinary furniture for The Ralph
The building underwent a complete renovation, with several surgeries being installed on the ground floor, along with operating theatres and consulting rooms. A new mezzanine floor was also constructed. Our contract for providing furniture involved us manufacturing over 80 base and wall units and worktops for this new facility.

It’s good to deal with fellow professionals. David Bailey know what we like in terms of angled furniture tops, good hinges, robust materials. We worked very closely with Carl to keep in touch throughout the project.
ACD Projects designed the centre to give a feeling of space and colour, so that a visit to the vet could be sympathetic, colourful and joyous.
