About this project
We have manufactured and installed fitted veterinary furniture at the new extension for Eastcott Veterinary Clinic & Hospital, Swindon, in a contract worth £25,000.
We were selected by Beard Construction to provide worktops in sparkling white and doors in grey for recovery, chemotherapy, preparation, stores and various medicine rooms.
Furniture installed
The new extension for Eastcott vets included:
- 3 additional operating theatres
- 4 additional consulting rooms
- New improved cat friendly cat ward
- Dedicated cat friendly examination room
- 2 new dog wards
- Dedicated canine friendly examination room
- 3 new procedure rooms
- Larger intensive care and recovery suite
- Additional x-ray and ultrasound rooms
- Larger specialist dentistry suite
- Provision for MRI unit
- Improved staff facilities
Eastcott Veterinary Clinic project details
Eastcott Vets has been part of of the Swindon community since the 1960’s and now has 3 veterinary surgeries in Swindon, at Bath Road, Dorcan Way and Cricklade Road. The practice has won UK Veterinary Practice of the Year twice and is officially recognised by the ISFM as a Cat Friendly Practice. In 2018, Eastcott Vets became part of the Linnaeus Group, a partnership of highly respected veterinary practices across the UK.
In August 2018, building work began at Eastcott’s Edison Park Clinic and Hospital, which involved building a brand new extension to house operating theatres, consulting rooms, dog and cat wards, procedure rooms, dentistry suite and intensive care & recovery suite.
